Compulsive Gambling
I feel that although compulsive gambling is a disease it is also easily curable. Many feel the need to gamble to get out of debt but instead end up in debt anyways. Many often lose family, friends, and even themselves due to gambling. Although it is a recreational activity many people lose sight of that and become addicted.

Yes the lucky thing is that gambling addiction can be cured and controlled. As of drug addiction, it takes way more time and effort to be fully out of it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your view, but in some form gambling becomes more than a recreational activity and turns into an escape from life. Once someone feels liberated they want to continue chasing that feeling and becomes addicted without even recognizing it.
ReplyDeleteI also think gambling is a disease. It's the same thing as taking drugs to me. You just have to be in hard work to get rid of the habit.
